28-year old QB Aaron Rodgers led the Packers to a 14-1 record in his starts and he set a new all-time record for QB Rating in a season with a mark of 122.5.  Rodgers played in 15 games (all starts) for the Packers this year and he completed 343 of 502 passes (68.3%) for 4,643 yards with 45 TD passes and only 6 INTs (122.5 QB Rating).  He also carried the ball 60 times for 257 yards (4.3 ypc) with 3 TD runs this year.  Rodgers has now played in 69 games (62 starts) in his NFL career so far and he has completed 1,381 of 2,113 passes (65.4%) for 17,366 yards with 132 TD passes and 38 INTs (104.1 QB Rating).  He also has carried the ball 249 times for 1,183 yards (4.8 ypc) with 16 TD runs so far in his NFL career.  Rodgers is now 41-21 (66.1%) as a starting QB during the regular season in his NFL career.

26-year old Matt Flynn has turned into a pretty darn good QB behind Aaron Rodgers.  He won his only start this year.  Flynn played in 5 games (1 start) for the Packers this year and he completed 33 of 49 passes (67.3%) for 518 yards with 6 TD passes and 2 INTs (124.8 QB Rating).  He also carried the ball 13 times for -6 yards (-0.5 ypc) this year.  Flynn has now played in 34 games (2 starts) so far in his NFL career and he has completed 82 of 132 passes (62.1%) for 1,015 yards with 9 TD passes and 5 INTs (92.8 QB Rating). Flynn has also carried the ball 31 times for 19 yards (0.6 ypc) with 1 TD run so far in his NFL career.  Flynn is 1-1 (50%) as a starting QB for the Packers.

UPDATE:  (2/5/2012) – Aaron Rodgers has been named the MVP of the NFL for the 2011 season.
