Indianapolis Colts RB Joseph Addai underwent knee surgery following the 2008 season, he said Friday.
Addai, speaking to the media early Friday afternoon, said he underwent arthroscopic knee surgery after a 2008 season in which he rushed for 544 yards and five touchdowns. Addai had rushed for more than 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons and made the Pro Bowl following the 2007 season.
Said Addai:
After the season I got my knee scoped, just got it cleaned out. It’s feeling good right now.
Also on Friday, when meeting with several media members, Colts President Bill Polian said that he expects former offensive line coach Howard Mudd and offensive coordinator Tom Moore to return as consultants next season.

Is the knee scope the reason Addai is sitting out of OTAs, or is he rehabbing another injury too?
Pretty sure it’s the knee, but I’ll try to find out,
