Indianapolis Colts G Ryan Lilja will miss the team’s third preseason game Saturday afternoon, but the injury keeping him out is a shoulder — not the knee forced him to miss last season.

Lilja, a six-year veteran, missed practice Wednesday and Thursday.

He missed last season with a knee injury, and his return during training camp has been one of the most watched stories around the Colts. Colts Head Coach Jim Caldwell said he is pleased with Lilja’s progress and that the knee has not been an issue.
