In the interest of keeping you informed, wanted to pass along this link to a story by ESPN The Magazine writer Seth Wickersham on the re-signing of center Jeff Saturday. A lot of you probably already have seen it, since it ran this past Thursday. I missed it, but caught through a link by ESPN AFC South blogger Paul Kuharsky, so I thought I’d pass it along. The gist is what we already knew — that the salary-cap increase a few days before the start of the NFL’s league year played a huge role in Saturday returning.

But Seth got a lot of detail I hadn’t seen before and did a nice job with the story.
