Indianapolis Colts LB Tyjuan Hagler is now listed as the team’s starting left linebacker, according to a depth chart released on the team’s website.
Hagler, a fifth-year veteran, had been working as a reserve throughout preseason and training camp with Philip Wheeler — a third-round selection in the 2008 NFL Draft from Georgia Tech — working as the starting strong-side linebacker. Wheeler is now second on the depth chart.
The depth chart also lists third-year veteran Dan Muir as the starting tackle alongside Antonio Johnson. Ed Johnson started alongside Johnson throughout preseason, but he is serving a one-game suspension for the opener.
