The Indianapolis Colts worked out former Buffalo Bills QB J.P. Losman Friday, the Indianapolis Star is reporting.

Losman, who led the Las Vegas Locomotives to the first United Football League championship last month, went 10-23 as a starter in five seasons with Buffalo.  He passed for 6,211 yards and 33 touchdowns with 34 interceptions there.

Jim Sorgi, the top backup to Colts QB Peyton Manning since 2004, has not practiced since sustaining a right shoulder injury in practice in mid-November.  Rookie Curtis Painter has been the top backup the past three games.
