Indianapolis Colts TE Dallas Clark stopped waiting a while ago.
And he sure stopped worrying.
Clark, who in 2010 will enter his eighth NFL season, for several seasons missed the Pro Bowl despite putting up elite numbers. For a while, he said it bothered him a bit, then he said since it wasn’t something he could control, and since there were good players passed over each year, there was little point in worrying.
Finally this past season, Clark put up a season that couldn’t be ignored.
So it was that when Clark made the Pro Bowl this past season, he not only made it, but he made it as a starter, and also was named Associated Press first-team All-Pro.
So, when it comes to the Colts’ tight end position, it’s safe to say it’s a team strength.
And the primary reason is Clark.
