The Indianapolis Colts have signed free agent guard Andy Alleman today, the Indianapolis Star is reporting.

Alleman (6 feet 4, 310 pounds), also a center and originally a third-round selection in the 2007 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints, spent the 2008 with Miami and last season with the Kansas City Chiefs. He was not offered a contract by Kansas City late last week.

He started seven games the past two seasons.
