The Indianapolis Colts have claimed DE J.D. Skolnitsky off waivers from Washington, the team has announced.

Skolnitsky (6-feet-5, 255 pounds), who played collegiately at James Madison, signed with the Washington Redskins shortly after the 2009 NFL Draft. He spent the season on the Redskins’ practice squad.
