Tom Moore is still coaching for the Indianapolis Colts.

But for the first time since joining the staff in 1998, his title won’t include “offensive coordinator.”

Moore, the Colts’ offensive coordinator from 1998-2008 and the senior offensive coordinator this past season, now will hold the title of senior offensive assistant, with Clyde Christensen — a Colts assistant since 2002 — being promoted from assistant head coach/wide receivers to offensive coordinator and Pete Metzelaars being promoted from offensive quality control/assistant offensive line to offensive line coach.

Christensen was the team’s wide receivers coach from 2002-2008 and Metzelaars joined the staff in 2004.

The Colts on Friday also officially announced the addition of two assistants: wide receivers coach Ron Turner and assistant offensive line coach Ron Prince.

Jim Bob Cooter, who joined the Colts in 2009 as staff assistant, has been named offensive assistant.

Turner, the Chicago Bears’ offensive coordinator the past five seasons, was the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach for Chicago from 1993-1996, and the head coach at Illinois from 1997-2004.

Prince, the head coach at Kansas State from 2006-2008, spent last season as the special teams coordinator at Virginia. He was the offensive line coach and/or offensive coordinator for five seasons at Virginia before joining Kansas State.
